Product removal and filtration is the initial stage of the tank cleaning preparations. Facilities that don’t have the capabilities or time to devote to the removal of the product and also desire the material to be filtered of impurities, our technicians are quipped to on-site transfer the material through filtration units at micron level acceptable to the product manufacturer.
The most significant benefit is the ability to remove gelled particles from the resin allowing for greater viscosity control. This reduces the amounts of inhibitors and thinning agents required to keep the resin within specifications. All leads to longer resin life and total cost savings in overall maintenance of the resin.
